Hi, I'm Selama, I'm 21 years old, and I'm from Spain, from the Basque Country. My origins are from Africa, and I wanted to share a little bit of the story behind Miamoh and how it all began.

Ever since I was little, I've always loved creating and designing my own jewelry. I used to spend a lot of time looking at the pieces my grandmother, Elhachemia, had, and I was always drawn to the way she wore different things, each one with its own personality. She had a box where she kept natural stones, pearls, and all kinds of jewelry, as well as a small jewelry workshop at home.

I loved being there. I would pick out the stones, pearls, and different pieces, put them together, and create my own combinations. Even when I was little, I loved the idea of making something that felt special and different, something that felt like it belonged to me.

As I grew up, that feeling never really left me. I've always loved wearing something different and having jewelry that feels personal. To me, jewelry isn't just about looking pretty. It can say something about who you are, your personality, or simply how you feel that day.

That's what made me want to create Miamoh.

I wanted to create jewelry that wasn't just beautiful, but that could have a personal touch and, most importantly, allow each person to make it their own.

One of the things I love most is being able to change your necklaces whenever you feel like it — adding or removing charms, combining pearls, chains, and different details depending on the day, your mood, or simply what you feel like wearing. I love the idea that the same piece can look completely different depending on the person wearing it.

The name Miamoh also has a very special meaning to me. Mia, my little sister, was given that name in honor of our grandmother Elhachemia, and Moh is my little brother. Their names came together to create Mia + Moh = Miamoh.

That's why I wanted the name of my store to carry a little piece of my family and my story with it.

Miamoh started as an idea in my head. Little by little, I began turning that idea into something real. I've had to learn along the way, try different things, change my ideas, and really think about the kind of pieces I wanted to offer.

I don't want Miamoh to be a store where everyone ends up wearing exactly the same thing. I want everyone to be able to create their own combinations, change their jewelry whenever they want, and find something that feels unique and truly theirs.

And that's how Miamoh was born.

It started with me, with my love for creating jewelry from a young age and with the inspiration I found in my grandmother. What was once just an idea in my head has slowly become something real, and now I get to share it with all of you.
